About Laurier du Vallon
Laurier Du Vallon, a family business founded by Jacques Laroche in 1963, quickly became the largest independent travel agency in Québec. Then the founder’s daughter, Nicole Laroche, took up the cause by laying solid foundations, continuing her father’s legacy, and taking over the family business. In 1995, the company joined Groupe Tanguay to boost its growth.
Flight Centre
In August 2017, Laurier Du Vallon reached a milestone in its national growth when Flight Centre Travel Group acquired a significant stake in the Québec company.
This partnership will, in particular, catalyze the growth of Laurier Du Vallon across Canada, and help make the company more competitive with an even more refined selection of luxury-focused products and services.
Flight Centre is an Australian company, established in Canada since 1995, and already well ensconced nationwide with retail locations in Ontario, British Columbia and Alberta.
